This place is definitely managed and owned by Meth Heads, I spoke briefly to the manager by telephone who wasted my time telling me how he had to inspect and approve of my camper, told me that they had no working bathrooms, showers or water and sewer hookups and then abruptly ended the conversation because apparently from the back ground noise I over heard it sounded like it was his turn to hit the pipe!
So many young men have died in battle in places like this
Lets begin with the "park manager". He is an ex convict that stays there free and his daughter and 3 year old grand daughter live in a box truck. He tells you when you get there who to stay away from because as he put it the drama people. He offers to let you work off some of the rent by doing odd jobs around the park sometimes he pays. He loves to give people 24 hours notice to get out if you make him mad. He gave me 24 hours notice after i heard him tell my husband that i hadnt been paying rent so i went and told him i want receipts from the past weeks. We were there short term until our house was ready to move into and on the last day we were there he actually hit the lady next door with his car. He then got in his car and left while i called the 911 to get the ambulance to come. I couldnt believe the owner of this campground let this man run his property. I even have recording if the time i went in to pay rent and get reciepts and he told me my husband was a drunk dealing drugs out of the trailer. I was so happy to get out of that place it just kept getting worse and worse. It is completely run unprofessionally and horribly. I wouldnt reccommend this place to my worst enemy. I guess its true you get what you pay for.
It has a pool, beautiful views, playgrounds, you can go canoeing, fishing, exploring since it's on an old cival war battlegrounds.
